Purpose

Sample adapted from ACTFL Can-Do Statements / CEFR / Beginner level in EFL.

This assignment challenges students to independently analyze the role of communication and media during government elections in rural and diverse contexts, focusing on human engagement and minimizing AI reliance.

This assignment asks students to critically engage with language and meaning, a distinctly human ability to connect communication with social and cultural contexts.

Learning Outcomes

  • Construct a coherent story using simple sentences and frequently used expressions.
  • Accurately conjugate verbs and apply tenses to describe routine activities and personal events under time constraints.

Instructions

  1. Complete the Story:

    • Fill in the blanks in Carmen’s story of her overseas trip by selecting the correct verb and tense from the options provided in the LMS quiz tool.
  2. Follow Quiz Rules:
