Investigation and Report
- Choose a topic related to government elections and rural communities. Use AI tools to support your brainstorming and topic selection process:
- CoPilot,ChatGPT or similar generative AI tools: Generate potential topics, questions, or ideas related to government elections and communication in rural communities. Use the tool to refine your focus based on prompts like, “Suggest research topics about media and elections in rural areas.”
- AI-powered research assistants: Tools like Elicit can help find relevant research papers or insights related to your chosen topic.
- Mind-mapping AI tools: Use tools like Scapple or AI-integrated platforms such as Coggle to organize and expand on your initial ideas.
- After gathering ideas, refine your topic by considering relevance, available resources, and alignment with the course objectives.
- Investigate forms of communication and media used during elections, their effectiveness, and their impact on diverse audiences.
- Create a report in one of the following formats:
