Instructions

Written Report and Infographic

1. Virtual Field Study
   • Select a region and global issue of interest (e.g., climate change, economic inequality, conflict).
   • Use digital resources such as satellite imagery, news reports, and videos to gather data on:
     • Context and geographical features
     • People involved and directly affected
     • Characteristics and implications of the global issue
     • Cultural dynamics and multidisciplinary approaches
2. Analysis Report
   • Write an 8-page analysis report including:
     • Introduction and purpose statement
     • Context and population of the global issue
     • Impact, implications, and approaches to address the issue
     • Reflection on the field study’s significance and ramifications for other regions.
   • Add images or links to illustrate examples.
3. Infographic
   • Create a 1-page infographic summarizing the report, highlighting effective responses to the issue and global perspectives.
   • Post the infographic on the discussion board for peer engagement.
4. Potential AI Tools
   • Use Microsoft Copilot to draft and refine sections of the report.
   • Use Canva or Visme to design the infographic.
   • Use ChatGPT for brainstorming and organizing ideas. Document AI interactions and verify AI-generated content.
